Fartown Christian Fellowship is the Pudsey branch of Struthers Memorial Group of Churches
Welcome to all Visitors
The one thing that you can be assured of on visiting Fartown Christian Fellowship is a warm welcome.
We understand that people find it difficult to go into a church for the first time or to visit a church different from their own.
Here you will find some brief details of what to expect at our services and at our youth activities.
What to expect at Services & Meetings
On entering someone will welcome you and provide you with any song books you may need. Please sit anywhere as we have no reserved seats.
You’ll find on sitting down that you’ll probably get a brief hello and a smile, as we sit quietly to help us prepare for the service .
During the service you can expect a time of singing & worship, maybe a singing item, preaching followed by a time of prayer and worship.
Sunday mornings also include the children who join in with the singing before Crèche, Children’s Church and Footsteps depart.
Sunday morning is a Communion Service.
We take our weekly offering during a Sunday morning service and everyone should feel free to give if you wish to but there is no obligation of any kind to do so.
During all our meetings you don’t need to worry about being asked to do anything public. We’re always careful never to put visitors in uncomfortable situations.

Parents - Friday Nights
On the first week you come with your child you’ll find that there is a welcome team to register your child and explain anything about which you have queries. This involves emergency contact details and consent forms for your child to take part in the activities.
On arriving children join in with singing in the main church, feel free to look in on the singing to help you set your mind at rest. We know it can be difficult to leave your child for the first time at a new club.
Your child will join in with various activities throughout the evening along with other children of a similar age.
At the end of the evening we bring the children out to meet their parents in the foyer. The doors open five minutes before the end of the clubs.
For safety reasons no child is permitted to leave the building without their parents.
