Every summer on Friday evenings the church is full of children having a great time. There's a different theme each year. The theme for 2010 was “Encounters with Jesus”.
Children make new friends, learn new skills and relax in a happy atmosphere. We play lots of games and every week there's a different craft.
On arrival at Holiday Fun Club parents of new children complete a registration form providing details of emergency contacts etc.
Children who are not able to attend every session can come when they're available.
We have some budding puppeteers amongst our young people at church! Holiday Fun Club will include puppet shows and mini dramas.
Parents enjoy finding out what goes on at Holiday Fun Club. Each week children take home a letter to parents and carers, explaining the theme of the week. At the end of the last week, families are invited to join us from 8.00 - 8.30pm to find out what has happened each week.
It is very important to us that children who are involved in our activities are safe. We have an active child protection policy, and all youth workers have have had enhanced checks by the Criminal Records Bureau.
